A Day for Truth

Hi Everyone,

I apologize for not being a frequent blogger. However, I felt I must respond to some recent nastiness. An anonymous source is littering the web with some very disturbing accusations. This person is accusing Steve Russell of skimming money from the stores and insinuates that he is tampering with the sales reports.
I have know Steve Rusell for well over 30 years(since childhood) and have NEVER known Steve to be anything but honest, hardworking and above board in all dealings, both personal and business related. I feel that these rumors being put out there are just the efforts of a disgruntled individual who is resorting to this tactic to divert business to another source. This is true dishonesty. I personally, am very discerning about who I do business with, and if I ever felt any cause for concern, I would not be working with Steve today. To the contrary, I feel that Steve goes above and beyond to service his customers and that is a quality that is not easy to find.

FA -LA-LA-LA-FALL!!!!

Can you believe tomorrow is the first day of fall? It's one of my favorite times of year---I love the cool dry air, the colors, the smell of wood burning in the fireplace, breaking out the hoodies and making some apple crisp. We have pumpkin spice coffee at work and we only get it for a few months--just lots of fun things to savor.
I am so excited with all the possibilities of the upcoming holidays---Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas give us numerous opportunities to create! This is the time to really get into the holiday themes in our designs.
So girls, hopefully we'll have a have a busy and profitable holiday season and have lots of fun too!

Summertime, and the living is eassssssy!

Can you believe it's already August 11? I feel like I just started enjoying Summer but before you know it, it will be Labor Day! Well, speaking of Summer, I was checking out all the awesome artwork the ladies are doing and it seems everyone has at least one summer themed kit. Welcome New Designers

I like to take a minute and welcome our newest designer, Lori Kelly. She has been involved with Scrapbook MAX! and also creates the most awesome alphabets! Welcome Lori, and glad to have you on board!

Things should start picking up this month as school is starting up again and everyone will be looking for the latest greatest school layouts, embellishments and papers... sounds like something to be working on this month... I'd better get to it!

Things Are Cooking In The Store

Hi Everyone,
Just checking in to let you know we are working feverishly to get the store up and running! I am so excited and thrilled---this is quite a new adventure for me!
It's been the 3 H's here--hot, hazy and humid--ac's been cranking and electric bill is going thru the roof---let's hope the weather breaks before we have to choose between the ac and filling up the car!
Stay tuned because I promise the store will be awesome-we want it to be user friendly, fun to look at, full of yummy products and inspiring!
So, here's a random question girls(or guys)---does anyone have a really good recipe for homemade chicken pot pie?
